How can I best take care of my blades?

Looking after your blades is vital in order to have a great shave and will mean you can enjoy smooth shaving for longer until you need to change. Cleaning your razor is important - but there’s certain dos and don’ts to ensure you’re keeping your blad

Do your blades have a trimmer on the back?

Our blades have a precision trimmer on the top of the cartridge. This is great for getting hard-to-reach places (like under your nose) as well as detailed shaving and edging of moustaches and sideburns.

Can I use Harry's to shave my head?

Our blades are designed for your face, and not recommended for head shaving.

Which handle is heavier?

The Truman handle is about 2 grams heavier. The Truman weighs 39.4 grams and the Winston weighs 37.4 grams.

How often should I change my blades?

The lifespan of our blades vary depending on your hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. On average, most people like to replace their blades once every 6-8 shaves - or simply once they become dull.

Can women shave with Harry's?

While Harry's blades are designed and optimized for face shaving only, we encourage everyone to choose the razor that best fits their needs, regardless of gender identity.

Where are your products made?

Our blades are engineered and manufactured in our factory in Eisfeld, Germany using Swedish steel, our handles are made in China and our face, body, and hair care products are formulated in labs in the US and UK.

Are your blades and handles compatible with other brands?

Our blades are designed to fit exclusively with our handles. They are not designed to work with any other brands.

How many blades are in your cartridges?

There are 5 evenly spaced razor blades, in one cartridge.

Do you test any of your products on animals?

All of our products are vegan, with the exception of Texturising Putty, which contains lanolin. We do not perform animal testing on any of our products and there are no plans to change that.
